This beautiful climbing plant is part of the Araceae family. They are native to South America. They have multi-lobed abstract-looking leaves and produces typical aroid flowers in brown to brownish-green shade. But flowering is rare in these plants.

The name derives from the Greek words “philo” – or “love, affection” and dendron or “tree”. The generic name, Philodendron, is often used as the English name, “philodendron”. It is easy to care for indoors. A common plant may turn around 100 to 300 cm tall.

Light: Philodendron Pedatum is happy in a shaded area but best in bright, indirect light.
Temperature: Prefers warm to high temperatures, ideally between 18-23°C.
Water: Water regularly, keeping the soil moist at all times. Allow the top of the soil to slightly dry out in-between watering.
Humidity:  Mist frequently to improve humidity.
Fertilizer: Feed twice a month during growing season.
Height & Growth Rate: Philodendron has an ultimate height of 1 – 2.5m. Fast growth rate and requires a space with height and breadth.
Air purifying: Yes
Toxicity: This is a toxic plant. Keep away from children & animals.
