Yucca Elephantipes has long, sword-like, yellow-green, arching leaves, which grow in a rosette from the top of a bare trunk. Unlike other Yucca varieties, the leaves are spineless. Perfect for adding some life-enhancing, indoor greenery, Yucca work really well displayed alongside other desert plants such as Dracaena, Beaucarnea and Cordyline. Yucca elephantipes originates from the Southwestern United States, Mexico and Central America.

The Spineless Yucca Care
Light: prefers bright, direct sunlight but will tolerate some light shade.
Temperature: The Spineless Yucca is hardy and adapts well to pretty much any indoor room temperature. Temperatures as low as -1°C and as high as 32°C.
Water: Allow the top of the soil to dry-out before watering. Can cope with some degree of drought. Don’t allow to sit in water.
Humidity: The Yucca Elephantipes is tolerant to drier air, and will thrive in normal household humidity.
Fertilizer: Add a diluted amount of balanced liquid fertiliser to the compost in spring and once again in summer. Over fertilisation of your Yucca Plant can lead to root burn.
Height & Growth Rate: The Spineless Yucca is very slow-growing and typically reaches an ultimate indoor height of 1 to 2 metres.
Toxicity: This plant is toxic. Keep away from children & animals.
