Sansevieria masoniana, is a species of Dracaena native to Africa. It is a good house plant that thrives and grows in almost any condition. This minimalist one single large elegant leaf requires minimal attention, so ideal for beginners. It just requires the right filtered light or shade and infrequent watering. Often grown as a single larges with a stiff leaf. The plant’s common names include “whale fin”, “shark’s fin” and a funny one is “mother-in-law’s tongue”.
