Calathea Orbifolia is a species of prayer plant. They come in a huge range of different patterns and colours and they’re all relatively easy to look after. Native to Bolivia, it is commonly kept as a houseplant in temperate zones for its ornamental leaves. It requires partial shade, humidity, and good drainage to thrive. Calathea Orbifolia is a popular indoor plant due to its remarkably large and round leaves. Their foliages are subtly striped with pale silver-green markings.

Calathea Orbifolia care
Light: Calathea Orbifolia can tolerant some shade, however brighter locations with plenty of indirect sunlight will help the Calathea thrive.
Temperature: This plant thrives in average household temperatures: anything above 18°C, and needs a minimum of 15°C in winter.
Water: Calathea must be kept in damp soil at all times. Water them regularly.
Humidity: Calathea Orbifolia prefer to be kept in medium to high humidity. Mist your Calathea regularly.
Fertilizer: Feed twice a month during growing season.
Height & Growth Rate: Calathea orbifolia is a fast growing plant, reaching heights of around 1 metre. Leaves can grow to 30cm in width.
