Curly slim is a hybrid whimsically shaped houseplant like an octopus trying to get out of a pot. It is a fantastic hybrid that is very popular amongst plant lovers. Tillandsia ‘Curly slim’ native to central and South America, makes great exotic, strongly curled leaves. They can produce pups on the inflorescence as well as at the base, so they can make some interesting clumps over time. It is a very easy houseplant that requires little care.

Tillandsia ‘Curly Slim’ care
Light: Prefers bright, but not in direct sunlight.
Temperature: Does not drop below 12°C and can tolerate a maximum of 30°C.
Water: Allow to dry out completely between watering. Keep it slightly under hydrated with spray to really accentuate the curls.
Humidity: Prefers high humidity but can cope with a normal home humidity level.
Fertilizer: Does not require much fertilising, feed only once or twice with a half-strength fertiliser during the growing season.
Height & Growth Rate: Reaches to a height and spread of 40cms, in time.
Air purifying: Yes.
Toxicity: This is a toxic plant. Keep away from children & animals.
