Ficus Alii is a relatively new addition to the world of cultivated Ficus plants, native to India, Southeast Asia and China. The narrow, slender leaves are 8–13 cm long. In its native range, it grows in the tropical forest so is very versatile coping well with bright lights and shade which makes it an ideal houseplant. It is a perennial “ornamental fig” plant belonging to the family Moraceae and makes for a beautiful addition as an indoor tree to any home.

Ficus trees make a great houseplant gift for friends or family – surprise them with rainforest style! If you are giving this as a gift, make sure you include your message at the basket stage.

This plant can survive in temperatures as low as 6°C. When you leave it on the balcony or in the garden, be sure to protect it in weather conditions falling to 5 degrees. Popular as indoor or conservatory plants.
