The String of Hearts is a well hanging plant native to South Africa, Swaziland, and Zimbabwe. Due to its dark green with variegated silver markings or in cream, pink, and green heart-shaped, patterned leaves. It can grow up to 4m long, so make sure to hang this plant somewhere high.

When you grow your String of Hearts as an indoor houseplant, make sure to place it near the brightest window possible. If grown outdoors the plant should be placed in a bright, shaded area.

String of Hearts is non-toxic to cats and dogs.

Light: Prefer bright light including direct sun, the more light the more purple it gets.
Temperature: Average household temperatures 16-24°C, but no lower than 10°C.
Water: Keeping compost moist in spring to autumn but allow compost to dry out between watering in winter..
Humidity: String of bananas are fine in house conditions if you live in a humid climate it would be best to water less.
Fertilizer: Feed String of Hearts once every two months or during the growing seasons.
Height & Growth Rate: Fast-growing and typically reaches an ultimate height and length of 2 metre.
Toxicity: Non-toxic. Child & Pet Friendly.
