Codiaeum Variegatum Care
Light: Codiaeum need plenty of bright light. Direct sunlight for at least a few hours a day is recommended.
Temperature: Croton plants prefer warm conditions. If temperatures drop too far below 10°C, the plant’s leaves may begin to turn brown. Ideally, best at temperatures of 24°C
Water: Keep the soil slightly moist from March to September. Reduce the water supply from October to February, without drying the soil completely.
Humidity: The Croton plant originated in a tropical environment, so it favours a warm, humid environment. The Croton appreciate a regular misting.
Fertilizer: Feed twice a month during growing season.
Height & Growth Rate: Height is up to 1.50 m, depending on variety. When allowed to grow tall, crotons have a tree-like form with thick trunks.
Toxicity: Toxic if ingested. Keep away from children & animals.
